El “Km0: Polo Cultural de los Esteros” busca ser un punto de partida y referencia para la creación, desarrollo, realización, exhibición de contenidos y bienes artísticos, y servicios culturales desde una perspectiva histórica, social, comunitaria, ambiental.
km0: Cultural center of the Wetlands» aims to serve as a catalyst for the creation, development, realization, and exhibition of artistic content and goods, as well as cultural services, from a historical, social, community, and environmental perspective.
La Mirada/The Vision
Proponemos una cultura alternativa por fuera de las capitales culturales hegemónicas, somos periferia, margen, borde, orilla y un gran pueblo sin fronteras.
We propose an alternative culture outside the hegemonic cultural capitals. We are periphery, margin, edge, shore, and a great project without borders.

El Equipo/The Team
El “Km0: Polo Cultural de los Esteros” es una asociación civil que lleva adelante un proyecto interdisciplinario y comunitario, integrado por un equipo de profesionales relacionados con la gestión cultural, el cine, el arte, la educación, la ciencia, etc.
The «km0: Cultural center of the Wetlands» is a civil association that carries out an interdisciplinary and community project. It is comprised of a team of professionals related to cultural management, cinema, art, education, science, etc.

Las actividades y acciones del “km0: Polo Cultural de los Esteros” se están llevando adelante desde Caá Catí, un pequeño pueblo ubicado a 125km de la capital de la provincia de Corrientes (Argentina).
«km0: Polo Cultural de los Esteros» is headquartered in Caá Catí, a small town located 125 km from the provincial capital of Corrientes, Argentina.

“Caá Catí, un gran pueblo sin fronteras” reza el lema del proyecto. Tomamos a Caá Catí como un punto de partida para concretar proyectos, actividades y acciones que luego puedan expandirse más allá de las fronteras.

Caá Catí combina belleza natural, una arquitectura detenida en el tiempo y una rica tradición en artesanías y gastronomía; además es reconocida por ser “cuna de poetas”, ya que de su seno han salido grandes referentes de las letras que han trascendido la frontera.
Caá Catí boasts a unique combination of natural beauty, a distinctive architectural heritage, and a vibrant tradition in handicrafts and gastronomy. The town also has a reputation as «the cradle of poets» due to its significant contributions to literary arts, with many renowned figures having transcended national boundaries.
Cine Pueblo
Consta de proyecciones al aire libre y de acceso gratuito, lo que generó que el cine vuelva de manera continua a la zona después de 30 años. Cine que también se extendió, a través de la itinerancia, a distintas comunidades rurales donde el cine no había llegado antes: minorías invisibilizadas y pueblos alejados.
The initiative comprises open-air screenings and free access, which have led to the continuous return of cinema to the area after 30 years. The cinema also extended its reach through itinerant programming to rural communities that had not previously had access to cinema, including those with minority populations and those in remote areas.
Acciones y actividades/Actions & Activities
Propiciar espacios para albergar charlas, capacitaciones, ferias; potenciando un mercado integrado por el arte: libros, cuadros, música, cine y la cultura: artesanías, gastronomía, y diferentes saberes ancestrales de las comunidades locales.
Promote spaces to host lectures, training sessions, and fairs, creating a market integrated by art, books, paintings, music, cinema, and culture, including handicrafts, gastronomy, and ancestral knowledge from local communities.
